We ethically source the highest quality materials and every part of the shoe-making process is done by hand. This ensures that your shoes will last a lifetime. Every pair of Diomande shoes receives a lifetime guarantee that gives you peace of mind that if any manufacturing defect is found then it is our obligation to repair or remake the shoe at our cost. Our reputation is built on our quality.
Where is your store located?
Our showroom and workshops are located at 71 Roeland Street, The Gardens, Cape Town 8001, South Africa.
Can I make my own custom design shoe?
We pride ourselves on our ability to handcraft any shoe for ladies and Men. Our standard lead time is between 2 to 3 weeks depending on the complexity of the design
Do you accept wholesale orders?
We do manufacture and supply orders to retailers and fashion labels. Kindly contact us to arrange a meeting to discuss your project.
What is the process for custom designing my shoes?
You will need to visit our store in Cape Town for a shoe fitting. At the shoe fitting, we will measure your feet to ensure a custom fit. Once we have your shoe measurements, we will keep them on file, so if you require any shoes in the future then we already have your feet size. After confirming your design we will make a sample for a scheduled fitting before your shoe is completed and finished. This ensures that you are entirely happy with the design and fit before production is complete. Any adjustments can be made during this consultation.
Where do you source your animal skins from?
Our leather and exotic skins are ethically sourced from tanneries in South Africa and leather importers. We understand that there are clients that do not approve of exotic skin shoes and, in this regard, we make best efforts to procure skins that are certified and conform to ethical processes. We understand the need to ensure our clients are well informed in our procurement process. All of our skins are 100% genuine.
How are your shoes made?
Diomande shoes are 100% handmade. From pattern and leather cutting to stitching and finishing. This ensures that your shoe will last a lifetime. Our quality is guaranteed.
Can you make a pair of my old shoes which I really like ?
Yes, we can make any design of shoe, boot or sandals. Simply email us a photo of your design and we will be in contact with you on design details as well as pricing.
I have oversized or wide feet - can you still make shoes for me?
Yes. During your shoe fitting, we will measure your feet so that your shoes fit perfectly.
What sizes of shoes do you make?
From sizes EU 34.5 – 48.5. Please get in contact with us for any different sizes.
What is the cost of custom making my own shoes?
Our pricing starts at R 2895, per pair, depending on shoe design and materials used.
I need special shoes made for a wedding or special event - can you make them for me ?
Yes, we have made shoes for weddings and special events in the past and you are welcome to share, with us, your design ideas.
Do you make orthopedic shoes?
We have manufactured specialised shoes for clients and although we are not in a position to offer any medical advice concerning orthopaedic shoes, we can construct the shoes according to unique specifications.
Do you repair all shoes ?
Yes, you are welcome to drop off your shoes at our Cape Town store for evaluation and pricing.
